Air conditioning is a familiar and, in fact, mandatory feature of any new or reconstructed modern premises, whether residential building, office or industrial facility. Air-conditioning is a prerequisite for a comfortable feeling of people, which, as practice shows, helps to improve the efficiency and activity, which is essential for effective economic activities of modern enterprises.

Industrial air conditioning is a special area in air-conditioning, because it uses powerful and complex system of air conditioning, systems with chillers and fan coil units, cabinet-type air conditioners, compression-condensation units, etc. All these allow creating a comfortable climate and a healthy atmosphere in almost any room.

Industrial air conditioning provides:
- maintaining temperature within established limits and air distribution to eliminate areas of overheating.
- maintaining level of humidity
- protection against dust: no danger of accumulation of dust in the room.

All industrial air conditioning systems can be divided into two groups: water cooling (chillers and fan coil units), and Freon systems.

Central air conditioners

These air conditioners are designed to service the premises occupying large area and volume, and can be applied not only in shops and large industrial premises, but also in closed sports facilities, concert halls, etc. Structurally, they consist of individual model sections tightly interconnected by a system of ducts. Each section is mounted on a frame of aluminum profiles, and then it is closed with panels, part of which is removable for access to the aggregates of the air-conditioner. In addition, each panel has two layers with mineral wool insulation pad between the layers. A combination of central air conditioning systems with air-heating of the building is also possible; in this case the whole system operates all year round. A system of central air conditioning with air recirculation can also be realized: in this case, it is completed with the mixing chamber, allowing supplying variable amounts of both fresh outdoor air and recirculation air.

Chiller-fan coil systems

Such devices can provide independent temperature control in a large number of premises at the same time, for this reason they may be useful in large office buildings, divided into separate rooms, as well as hotels, shopping malls, etc., Chiller is a refrigerating machine, designed for cooling fluid, which is usually water or nonfreezing liquid. Then by means of the pumping station, the liquid is supplied to the fan coil unit, a device that has a heat exchanger with fan, filter and control panel. When installed in a room, the fan coil «collects» the air with ventilator, which is then either cooled or heated by the heat exchanger. A certain amount of fresh air from the central air conditioning or air supply plant can also be supplied to the fan coil unit; in this case the system allows solving the problem of ventilation. A characteristic feature of chiller-fan coil systems is the flexibility of planning and management if there is a necessity of air-conditioning in a large number of premises. You can also commission the object gradually, connecting parts of the building to the system of fan coil units in the process of construction.

Compression-condensation units

Air cooling compression-condensation units are installed outdoors and the user of refrigerator (evaporator) is installed in the room. They may be with axial fans, the main advantage of which is lower cost, as well as with centrifugal fans. In the second case the noise in the room is significantly reduced by installing silencers to air channels, but this requires additional installation work on the pipelines. There are also compression-condensation units of water cooling. In this case a monoblock with a compressor and a condenser is located in the premises; the condenser is cooled by a closed loop with the nonfreezing liquid through the heat exchanger with fans on the street, or with running water (artesian, sea, or river water). The main advantages of these units are possibility of year-round operation, and virtually unlimited distance between the inner and outer block.

Roof-top air-conditioners

These are monoblock refrigeration machines that are installed on flat roofs of buildings, or on special racks to be installed on sloping roofs and on the ground. These air conditioners are simultaneously capable of ventilating and air-conditioning of the room, and suitable for any room of a large volume. In this case fresh air is taken from the outside through the air intake grille of the air-conditioner; recirculation air enters from the premises through the system of air duct, and then is mixed with fresh air in the mixing chamber. Using roof-top air-conditioners can fully preserve the interior space, as only air grilles are seen from the inside. Thanks to monoblock construction, these air conditioners are simple to install and they are similar to central air conditioning.
